Fuddy Duddy

The museum’s B-17 Flying Fortress, nicknamed “Fuddy Duddy”, was used as a VIP transport in the Pacific during World War II. It once transported General Dwight D. Eisenhower who later became the 34th President of the United States. The plane was also featured in Tora!Tora!Tora! (referral link), a 1970 movie about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Every year, the museum is also visited by the Collings Foundation’s WWII era aircraft as a part of the Wings of Freedom Tour.
